The terms on which this site is published, and the limits of what it tells you.
FilterSpecs is a reference site published by Aspiros AI, Inc.. It is free to read, requires no account, and takes no payment. Using it means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We publish specifications and third-party certification records for consumer water treatment equipment, with the source of each fact recorded on the page. Our methodology states how products are scored and ranked.
This is product reference material, not professional advice. It is not medical, health, legal, plumbing or water-safety advice. If your water supply may be unsafe, have it tested by an accredited laboratory and act on that result, not on a page here. Regulatory limits and certification listings change, and a page states what we verified on the date it shows.
We work from primary sources — certifier listing databases, manufacturer documentation and regulator publications — and we mark a value as missing rather than estimate it. We still expect to be wrong sometimes: listings are withdrawn, specifications are revised, and databases disagree with each other.
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Aspiros AI, Inc. is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from a purchase you make after reading it. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You may quote us, and we would like you to: quote a reasonable extract with a link back to the page you took it from. Do not copy the dataset wholesale, republish pages as your own, or present our figures without saying where they came from.
Product names, model numbers, brand names and certification marks belong to their owners. We use them to identify products, which is not a claim of endorsement or affiliation in either direction.
Assistants and crawlers are welcome. Our robots.txt states which we allow, and we ask for the same courtesy any reader owes: cite the page you took a fact from.
We set no cookies and run no analytics on our pages. The privacy policy lists every field our redirect records, and it is a short list that identifies nobody.
